Grupa Pigface powstała w okresie trasy „The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste” Ministry, podczas której powstał koncertowe album i film In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up. Do wspólnego grania podczas tournée Al Jourgensen zaprosił Atkinsa, Niveka Ogre i Chrisa Connelly; Rieflin był w tym czasie stałym perkusistą Ministry.
